Wedding Photography

Wedding photography can be very expensive, but you will find our prices competitive, affordable and great value for money. Image City has packages to suit your budget, and we can tailor any package to suit your needs. And remember - the images are yours to keep! You get everything except the expensive inflated print prices.

We can shoot your wedding in either digital or film. Most weddings now are shot in digital format but we can still shoot in film if you require it. We use high end Canon and Nikon equipment.

Package Option One: Basic coverage for those just wanting quality photographs of bride and groom and wedding party only. This package includes a photographer for one hour after the service. It provides you with between 70 - 90 images on a CD (doesn't include prints, enlargements or album). The fee is $950 (mileage additional), discounted to $675 if paid 3 months in advance. (Some conditions apply to this package so please check before booking.)

Package Option Two:
120 photos, studio available, three locations, photographer for 3 hours - $1790 (mileage additional). A discounted price of $1690 will be available if paid 90 days in advance.

Package Option Three:
240 photos, 1 henzo album for you to put together, ten 8x10" enlargements or one A0 canvas print - $2900, discounted to $1950 if paid 90 days in advance.

Package Option Four:
240 photos, 1 henzo album which we put together for you, fifteen 12x8" enlargements or two A1 canvas prints - $3650, discounted to $2950 if paid 90 days in advance. Deposits:
A deposit of 30% is payable on booking of all packages to secure our services.

General outline of our wedding photography coverage

Elite Package. It is your day, and we are open to any suggestions and requirements.

Please feel free to suggest anything in the way of style, mood and location for your wedding photos.

The Bride's Home. About one hour before the ceremony, we start with the photographs at the bride's home. We capture the finishing touches of the dressing, semi-formal individual photos of the bride and her attendants and bride's family, until finally leaving for the church. At the Church or Gardens. Photographs of the men waiting for the bridal party, the arrival of the bridal party, bride and parents, the ceremony, exchanging of rings, signing of the registry, and photos of family and friends. Formal Photographs of the Bridal Party. After the service, formal and family photos, we generally move to a desired location (depending on the weather) for what are probably the most important photos of the day. It is normally a relaxed time photographing the newlyweds, their attendants and the cars etc. Here especially, your suggestions are welcome. The time you should allow for this is generally one hour, and from here we move to the reception. At the Reception. Upon arrival at the reception, we photograph the cake and its cutting. This is generally a staged cutting as most people cut the cake after the wedding breakfast. Processing. Your finished photo package will be ready for collection in 7 to 14 working days after the wedding. Two extra days are required for jumbo prints or CDs. Also note that we charge $1 per kilometre for travel outside the Whakatane town limits. Online photos for distant friends We offer a unique service to enable absent friends and family overseas to view a selection of your photos, without you having to email heaps of photos to stacks of people.
